Michel´s work is all hand made in sterling silver. The process begins by carving each piece of jewelry in wax.  This facet can take a very long time, depending on the intricacy of the piece. The original is cast and a mold is made from this master. Once a mold is made, the piece can be reproduced.  After the jewelry is cast, it is filed and polished to come up with the finished product. This is known as the lost wax casting method. It is a craft that was mastered over 5,000 years ago. ¨Carving wax is what I like to do best. It is sculpting on a miniscule level.
I hope you enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it.¨
